DHR Guests on KXLU Halloween Special!
For the 2nd year in a row, DHR was invited to guest-DJ on KXLU 88.9 FM’s Levitation Radio for a spooky, kooky, sexy Halloween special broadcast. We got down on creepy sets, interjected with wicked movie soundbites, summoning the studio spirits while setting a sinister mood for listeners. Here’s what we brought to the table.

Well, DJ Jen decided to take a vacation. A much deserved vacation. Goodness gracious, gracious DJ Jen! DHR had an absolute blast blasting the FM airwaves with tracks from some of the most stellar rock, garage, surf, punk, and psychedelic bands featured on our site (as well as some yummy treats from Dirty Jeff’s psychedelicious vaults)! Silver Lake Jubilee Festival
We want kids to be talking about DHR so much that parents think it must be the latest drug fad. We want our station to make the party like the rug that really ties the room together. We’ll see you at the festival if you’re there, and when we do we’ll give you a cool sticker and a high-five.
