The Big Jerks are a group of middle-aged men who love to get together to goof around with their instruments and jam out what’s on their minds. They are compulsive improvisationalists, playing and saying whatever happens to be hot in their bellies at the given moment. And in fact, these Jerks are good musicians. Perhaps a token of their ripened wisdom, they fear not the lengthy process; with gradual transitions and patient progressions, they’ve been known to lay down solid twenty to thirty minute improv jams. Though mostly instrumental by nature, The Jerks will also lace their musical expressions with a talking jive that covers the whole spectrum, ranging from the Iraq War to Broken Toilets to Space Hippies hijacking William Shatner’s ship. ~Dirty Jeff
